Meet Amy Westphalen, PA-C
West Holt Medical Services welcomes Amy Westphalen, PA-C,
to its medical staff to provide care at the hospital and West Holt
Medical Clinic.
Westphalen performs physical examinations, diagnoses and
treats illnesses, assists in surgery, prescribes medications and
orders lab work, provides patient education, and does rounds
in area hospitals and nursing homes under the supervision of a
physician. She is a nationally certified physician assistant who
has been providing patient care in Nebraska since 2009 and is a
member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and
the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants.
“I enjoy practicing family medicine in a small town, because you can get to know your
patients on a more personal level outside of the medical clinic, and being able to know
my patients’ entire family helps me to approach their care knowing the whole medical
picture of the family,” says Westphalen.
Outside of work, Westphalen enjoys staying active by playing golf, walking, and
spending time with friends and family.
