There are no special requirements to be a volunteer at
Faith Regional, except that you must be 14 years of age
or older.
Volunteers assist in a variety of ways, including:
•
Involvement with direct patient contact areas for
family, visitors and staff.
•
Attending the gift shop.
•
Helping with special projects.
Every effort is made to place a volunteer in a position
to match their skills and interests with their schedule.
Interested in scholarships?
Faith Regional Volunteer Services offers $500, $1,000, $1,500
or $2,000 scholarships to those who meet eligibility requirements.
The scholarships are not based on the degree a student will be
pursuing, but rather a combination of the number of volunteer
hours a person has performed at Faith Regional Health Services, as
well as community involvement, leadership qualities, academics
and goals.
Volunteer hours may accumulate from year to year until the
application is submitted. Scholarship dollar amounts increase with
the number of hours volunteered.
Applications are accepted once a year and must be received on
or before the application deadline of March 31, 2016. For more in-
