THE LANDSCAPE to the south of Faith Regional is continuously changing as construction of the hos- pital’s newest medical office building moves full steam ahead. When complete, the South Medical Office Building will enable Faith Regional to more effectively serve patients by creating additional space needed as a result of physician recruit- ment and service line expansion. 1st floor–Surgical Center The outpatient surgical center will double in size from its existing space, increasing the number of surgical suites and creating updated, private pre- and post-operative rooms. 2nd floor–Orthopedics Orthopedics is one of Faith Regional’s fastest growing service lines with cur- rently more than 5,000 orthopedic pa- tients seen annually. The recruitment of additional orthopedic surgeons will help meet those needs. The new expansion will include state-of-the-art “This new medical office building is something we are very excited about. All of our orthope- dic specialists will be housed in one large space. 3rd floor–Women’s and Children’s Care Specialists caring primarily for women and children, including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, breast oncology surgery, and plastic and reconstruction, will all be housed in one location, an important conve- nience for the many growing families in northeast Nebraska. 4th floor–Surgical Specialties Expanded space located in close proximity with the outpatient surgical center will enable Faith Regional to recruit additional surgical specialties, enhancing access to care for patients and preventing the need to travel out-of-area for health services. Many surgeons who already frequently uti- lize the outpatient surgical center will be relocated to this floor, including gastroenterology, general surgery and pain management.
