To meet and exceed these expectations, we continue to identify new health care opportunities for growth and expansion to enhance services and accessibil- ity that is centered around our patients. New medical office building under construction Faith Regional recently broke ground on a new 109,000-square-foot medical of- fice building that will be located directly south of the hospital. This new, multi- specialty physician center will allow us to move forward with our strategic plan to organize key service lines while accommodating current services and support- ing future growth and expansion as more specialists are recruited. Development of this building will enable us to deliver more convenient, patient-centered care, and the close proximity to the West Campus provides access to continuous patient flow, improves delivery of care and enhances the overall patient experience. Construction began in September with an anticipated completion date of the first quarter in 2019. New urgent care clinic now open Faith Regional opened a new urgent care clinic this fall that provides medical care for illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention, but aren’t serious enough to require a trip to the emergency room. Both of these endeavors help ensure pa- tients across Northeast Nebraska receive the care they need when they need it, without having to travel out of the region.
