Program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned with the safety of children. Registration is required. A TIME TO HEAL: ALL SURVIVORS 12-week series, starting March 5 | 4 to 6:30 p.m. | Madison Room | Free Education program focused on helping individuals regain physical, emotional, intellectual, psychological and spiritual health after undergoing cancer treatment. CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT 101 Feb. 20, May 10 | 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. Norfolk Room | Free March 12 | 1 to 4 p.m. | Prairie Room | Free Workshop is designed to promote proficiency among mandatory reporters in identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect by helping them understand what, when and how to report, as well as explaining what happens after a report is made. Registration is required. FREEDOM FROM SMOKING 7-week series, starting Jan. 9 | 6 to 7 p.m. | Madison Room | $100 A step-by-step plan designed to help smokers gain control over their behavior and quit smoking. Participants are encouraged to work on the process and problems of quitting both individually and as part of a group. Class meets weekly for seven weeks.
